Mission Statement
Our mission is to have a warm, belonging, friendly, fun and professional environment for all our patients.

Appointments
It is our sincere desire to minimize delays for everybody and to “run on time” as much as possible. There are several things that occur each day, which cause us to get behind and thus make people wait for their scheduled appointments. Some of these things are discussed below.

Late Arrivals, ten (10) minutes or more past the scheduled time of the appointment, will be asked to reschedule on another day at a time they can more easily make punctually, unless we can work them into our schedule that day.

Loose Braces will be removed and then re-appointed to replace the loose braces during a morning time period when long appointments are available. If time is available, and no other patient will be delayed, then every effort will be made to replace the loose braces at the time it is discovered. If you know you have a loose brace, please call our office before your appointment.

Emergency Appointments are made during an available opening in the daily schedule at a special emergency time. After school or “prime time” emergency appointments are possible only if someone else cancels their appointment. Unscheduled emergency appointments in the afternoons cause all the other people to wait.

We understand that schedules are tight and that all of us have busy and hectic lives. However, due to the extreme demand for late afternoon appointments, it is necessary that patients rotate their appointments between mornings and afternoons.

Appointment Confirmations are implemented by our newest reminder system called, HouseCalls! This service will call you the day prior to your appointment and ask for your response. Please make sure that we always have your most current phone number.

Due to the new Federal Privacy Act (HIPAA), we now have to ask that all parents and guests remain in the waiting area during the patient’s visit. It is in violation of HIPAA to allow anyone in the operatory area besides the patient.

We are sure that you all agree that time is important to everyone and these policies are an attempt to improve our service to every single patient. Thank you for your help and understanding as we attempt to make changes for the better.

Insurance
Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services and allow them 45 days to render payment. After 60 days, you are responsible for the entire balance, paid-in-full. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.
